This page exists so the rules this site works by are written down somewhere a reader or a publisher can point at, rather than living only in the heads of the people running it.

What this site is

smartglasses.today is an aggregator. It publishes no reporting of its own. Every item on the wire is a headline, a source name and a timestamp, linking out to the publisher's own page — you read the story there, on their site, counted in their numbers.

What is written here rather than borrowed: the short editorial notes on some items, the release records and the cycle arithmetic behind them, the buying-guide copy, and the desk descriptions. Those are our words and our judgement, and they are what this page is about.

How items are chosen

Selection is mostly mechanical and deliberately dull. Feeds are fetched on a schedule; an item has to mention smart eyewear to pass the relevance gate, and VR-headset stories are excluded even when they mention glasses in passing. Whatever survives is routed to a maker desk by keyword. An editor reviews what the router could not place, and can move an item that landed on the wrong desk.

Audio is the exception: every episode, round-up and interview alike, arrives as a draft and appears only after someone has approved it by hand.

Nothing about placement is for sale. No publisher, maker or retailer pays to appear, to rank higher, or to be described a particular way, and no commercial relationship has ever influenced a release-record verdict.

We store headlines and links, not article text. Where an item carries a note, it was written here in our own words — we do not reproduce publisher summaries or opening paragraphs. Quotes from social posts are short and attributed to the account that made them.

Corrections

If something here is wrong — a date, a price, a product name, a verdict, an attribution — write to contact@smartglasses.today and say what is wrong and what it should be. Factual errors are fixed as soon as they are confirmed. Where a correction changes the meaning of something rather than fixing a typo, the change is noted on the page it affects.

Aggregated items are a special case: if a headline is wrong, the publisher has to change it, because the headline shown here is theirs. Tell us anyway — we can withdraw the item.

Takedowns and opt-outs

Publishers: if you want your headlines and links removed, write to contact@smartglasses.today from an address at your own domain. Removal is applied at the source level — the feed stops being fetched and existing items are withdrawn — and it is permanent unless you ask otherwise. No argument, no negotiation, no waiting for a reply first.

Our crawler identifies itself as smartglasses.today with this contact address in its user agent, so you can find it in your logs and reach a person without hunting through the site. It reads public feeds on a schedule and downloads no article text.
